Archive for January, 2012

Dear Readers,

For almost twelve years we have shared Middleport news and events along the Towpath. All good things must come to an end and the Towpath Partyline will no longer be a part of the Lockport Union Sun and Journal or the Medina Register. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to the loyal readers of both papers for their submissions and support over the years. It was fun to share your stories and achievements and  to help local organizations publicize their events.

I plan to find time in my busy life to continue my playwriting and writing along different avenues and will no doubt see you at our wonderful local events. You can still keep in touch with my adventures by following my blog again at www.lynnemarieseveryday.wordpress.com

Thank you again for your support. It is nice to be appreciated.

Soon Middleport will be invaded with over 500 runners, walkers and their families for the 23rd Annual Mr. Ed’s Superbowl Warm-Up 5K race. Members of Mr. Ed’s athletic Club and the Middleport Volunteer Fire Company are asking for your continued support of this annual tradition in our Village. Three $70 Scholarships were awarded in 2011. The group also gave $500 to the cancer society.
