Marty Ulrich contacted the Partyline this week with a special message, “Clute-Phillips American Legion Auxiliary Unit 938 in Middleport would like to thank all the local veterans for their honorable, unselfish service in protecting the freedoms of our country. As a token of our appreciation, we have made a $500 donation to Honor Flight Rochester, Inc. in honor of all the veterans from the Royalton-Hartland community. This wonderful program has been designed to transport veterans, free of charge, to Washington, D.C. to pay tribute to their appropriate war memorial. Currently they are accepting applications from World War II veterans and soon will be accepting Korean War and Vietnam veterans. We are privileged to have applications for the honor flight and would like to encourage you to apply for this rewarding experience. If you are interested in an application, please contact Marty Ulrich at 434-8622. God Bless our veterans and God Bless America!”
