The sale is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Please contact the Town Clerks office at 772-2431 for more information. Time to start planning for the big Celebration in Gasport. The 7th Annual Royalton 4th of July held at the Royalton Ravine.  Here is the most recent schedule, fun to share with the whole family.

Saturday, July 4th 

1pm.- Sold out Chicken BBQ

2:30 pm. Parade line up starts at Hartland Bible church in Gasport on West Ave. Formerly St. Mary’s Church

3:oo p.m. Parade starts

4pm.- 8pm.   Kid’s Zone opens. $5 wristbands include unlimited games, bounce houses, craft tent and petting zoo.

5:00 – 6:00 Music by: Last Call

6:30 – 8:30 Music by : Urban Renewal

8:30 – 11:00 Music by : Red House

5:00 – 11:00 Shuttle Busses will run from Gasport Firehall and Terry’s Corners Firehall every 20 min.

The LOYAL youth football Roy Hart Rams have openings for 6 and 7 year old kids who are at least 6 years old before December 1 2009. Practice is at Veterans park in Gasport starting July 27th. Interested players can sign up at the Royalton Ravine Park at the 4th of July celebration from 3:00pm to 6:00pm or by calling Rose Carey at (716) 531- 2463 or emailing jpfbuffalo@yahoo.com. A copy of the childs birth certificate is required.

                  The 14th Annual Fly In Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday at the Royalton Airport on Dale and Mackey Road. It is 9G5 on the airport maps if you are flying in. Breakfast will include sausage, eggs, blueberry sauce, juice, coffee or tea and all you can eat pancakes. Families can enjoy the displays of antique cars and tractors. The Gasport Order of the Eastern Star will hold a baked food sale on the site. All are welcome to drive in, fly in, bike in or walk in. The event is sponsored by the Gasport Masons and proceeds will help benefit the annual Roy-Hart Scholarships to a senior boy or girl.

            Enjoy a special evening program this Saturday at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, brought to you by Iroquois Observations. A Buffalo Audubon program takes place at Kanyoo Trail on Route 77. At 8 p.m. see ‘Owls of the night’  with ‘real live’ owls and speaker Wendi Pencille. Kid’s activities at 9 p.m. include “Bugs By Nightlight” with Toby Mansfield or “Star Gazing” with the Rochester Astronomy Club (time may be adjusted to have total darkness).

  The Lockport Theatre Organ Society presents the popular Joe Donahue at the console of their Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ on Monday June 15.

    Donahue, a talented musician and native of WNY has thrilled audiences in Ohio, Florida and Canada.  Locally, he has also played at Shea’s in Buffalo and North Tonawanda’s Riviera Theatre.

  The concert starts at 7 p.m. at the Dale Association, 33 Ontario St in Lockport. Admission is $ 6 and refreshments are available at Intermission.  The concert is open to everyone, the second half of the program may even include some requests from the audiencence.
