Approximately 175 people of all ages enjoyed a summer night of great music, free hot dogs, cookies and soda at the Village of Middleport’s Sesquicentenial Street Dance on Saturday night.
The Easy Street Big Band that includes band members Pete Dauphin and Wayne Blumrick, both Middleport residents played under a white tent for the event. The group had songs that entertained all the ages and having the road blocked off still gave lots of room for dancing. As their soloist Kathy sang “Blue Skies”, it was mostly blue skies for the event. Thanks to the Committee and the Village for a wonderful event.
