Sign up for the 19th Erie Canal Fishing Derby, a family event with over $20,000 in prizes. Taking place from July 7 through 19, there are 7 divisions; small and large mouth bass (12”), walleye (15”), N Pike (22”), bullhead, carp, sheephead and catfish.
Sign up any day during the derby and there will be daily prizes for kids at the weigh stations. The prices to enter are as follows: 14 and under are $6, individual adult $11, family $21 and cash bash is $5.
Win a boat package supplied by Bryce Marine of Rochester and other prizes. Tagged fish in the derby are marked up to $10,000 and they are sponsored by numerous local sponsors.
