The Federation of Republican Women presented Middleport Mayor Julie Maedl with the “2009 Woman of Influence” award at their 5th annual Women of the Year Luncheon on Sat., April 25 at the Tuscarora Inn in Lockport.
The award was presented to Mayor Maedl by The Honorable Assemblywoman Jane Corwin and she was also congratulated and recognized in a speech given by the Honorable Senator George Maziarz at the ceremony.
Mayor Maedl was chosen for her hard work, dedication and many years of public service for the Village of Middleport.
